Built to do a job, not sit there. Local studio, fixed prices in writing, real timelines you can plan around.
A website should do a job. Take a booking. Gather an enquiry. Sell the thing you sell. The number of local business sites I see that just list services and wait for the phone to ring is depressing.
Mine are built to work. Every project starts with one question: what's the single job this site needs to do for your business? Then the layout, the copy, the contact forms, all of it gets shaped around that answer.
Plain English, fixed prices, real timelines. You sign off the design before anything gets built. You own everything when it's done. If anything ever feels broken, I can usually fix it the same day.
Same plain-promise approach, four sizes. Flat-rate prices, written down in plain English. Pick the closest fit and we'll scope the rest on the call.
One properly-designed page covering what you do, who you are, and how to reach you. Live in under a week. Replaces the "we built it on Wix and never finished it" problem most sole traders have.
Best for: trades, freelancers, sole traders, anyone who needs a credible presence without the bigger commitment.
4 to 6 pages, custom design, written for your audience. Google Business Profile, Search Console and Analytics set up. AI chatbot included that qualifies enquiries while you sleep. Live in under two weeks.
Best for: cafés, salons, single-location services, very small teams ready for a proper home online.
8 to 12 pages, including blog and service-specific pages. Competitor and keyword research baked in. Local SEO and structured data set up properly. AI lead qualifier and AI content helper included. Live in two weeks.
Best for: gyms, salons, multi-service trades, established small businesses ready to grow.
Bespoke functionality. Ecommerce, booking systems, member areas, CRM integrations. Full SEO, performance tuning, structured data. AI tools across the board, plus 2 hours of custom AI consulting. 2 to 4 weeks of build time.
Best for: ecommerce businesses, growing SMBs whose website is doing real commercial work.
Custom design (not a template). Mobile-first build. Google Business + Search Console set up. Plain-English handover so you can edit text and images yourself. One month of Care Lite included. Code, domain, hosting all in your name from day one.
Same approach for every project, from Quick Start to Pro. Plain English, real conversations, weekly demos so you see things as they take shape.
30-minute call, no slides, no sales deck. What's the business, who's it for, what's the one job this site needs to do.
Written brief and quote, with timeline, scope, and any assumptions called out. You read it, ask anything, decide. No commitment yet.
You see the design in your browser before any code gets written. I won't start building until you're 100% happy. As many rounds as it takes.
Weekly demos of progress. You see it, click around, flag anything. Faster catch, cheaper fix.
Hosting, domain, analytics, GBP, all set up in your name. First month of Care Lite included. Hand over the keys.
More general questions are on the homepage FAQ. Below: the ones specific to the build itself.
Most rebuilds are quicker and cheaper than starting fresh. Send me the URL and I'll tell you honestly whether it's worth keeping the bones or starting over.
Yes. Every build is mobile-first. Most local businesses get over 60% of their traffic from a phone, so the phone version is what I design before the desktop one.
No. The build price includes writing. I'll interview you, draft everything, and refine until it sounds like you. If you already have copy you love, even better.
That's a Pro-tier build. Standard handles a simple online catalogue. Real ecommerce (cart, checkout, stock, deliveries, payments) needs Pro because it's a different animal.
Unlimited at the design stage. That's the whole point of the plain promise. Once you've signed off the design and I've started building, changes get quoted separately.
Yes, for the bits you'll actually want to change. Text, images, blog posts, prices. The technical stuff stays on my side via a care plan if you want one.
Nothing gets built until you're 100% happy with the design. We'll show you options and refine, as many rounds as it takes, until you are. Once you sign off, we build it. Changes after build are quoted separately, because catching it on screen costs nothing; catching it after the build means redoing work.
Two concept builds showing the kind of work I'd deliver. Click either to walk through the full site.
A 20-minute call will tell you which package fits, what it'll cost, and how long it'll take. Free, no pitch deck, no hard sell.
