Coffee, cake, conversation · Quorn village

A proper cup, by the brook.

Small café between Quorn Brook and the cricket field. Specialty coffee, cakes baked that morning, weekend brunch, and a room that doesn't hurry you out.

Built on the quiet idea that breakfast should take longer.

Beck & Beans started with a second-hand espresso machine and a stubborn belief that a village deserves a proper café. Somewhere to sit, read, meet a friend, or open the laptop on a Tuesday and not feel watched after one cortado.

Everything is made on the day, in small batches. The coffee comes from a roastery 12 miles up the road. The sourdough gets baked twice a week. The cakes change with what's good.

We hold tables for parties of 4 or more, Friday through Sunday. Smaller groups walk in any time. Send the form and we'll confirm by text, usually within the hour.

That's the idea. On the real site this lands in the café's diary and texts the customer back. This page is a concept, so nothing was sent.
