Nurse-led skin clinic · The Lace Market, Nottingham

Every face gets a consultation first.

Marisole is a small, nurse-led clinic for skin and anti-wrinkle treatments. No treatment on your first visit, no pressure to book one, and honest advice about what will and won't help. If a treatment isn't right for you, we'll say so and mean it.

Treatments

What we do, and what it's honestly like.

Each treatment page on a real build answers the awkward questions up front: cost, downtime, discomfort, and who it isn't for.

Skin consultation

Forty minutes with a nurse. Your skin history, your goals, and a plan, which is sometimes "no treatment, try this instead".

£30, off any treatment you go ahead with
Downtime · none

Anti-wrinkle treatments

Prescriber-assessed, always after consultation. What's suitable is decided in the room with a nurse, not picked off a menu.

Priced at consultation
Downtime · minimal, discussed first

Dermal fillers

Subtle, structural work with a light hand. We'd rather you come back than look done, and we'll say no to overfilling.

from £180
Downtime · possible swelling, 1 to 3 days

Skin peels

Clinical-grade peels matched to your skin at consultation. Honest heads-up: some flaking is part of the deal.

from £65
Downtime · flaking, 3 to 5 days

Microneedling

A course, not a miracle. Works gradually on texture and scarring, and we'll tell you at consultation if it's not the right tool.

from £90
Downtime · redness, 24 to 48 hrs

LED & skin health

The quiet, no-needle option. Good on its own, better alongside a plan, and a gentle place to start if you're unsure.

from £40
Downtime · none
Consented results

Shared properly, or not at all.

Every photograph a real clinic shows carries written consent, recorded beside the image. These tiles are designed placeholders standing in for that library.

Results vary from person to person, and we won't promise yours. Photographs are shared with each client's written permission, never edited, and taken down the moment someone changes their mind.

The practitioner & our standards

Who's treating you, and the rules we won't bend.

This trade is bought on trust. So here's exactly who holds the needle, and the standards behind every appointment.

Marisole Duarte, RN
Founder · registered nurse, independent prescriber

Twelve years in NHS dermatology nursing before opening the clinic. NMC-registered, fully insured, and still doing the training courses, because this field doesn't stand still. Certificates are on the wall, and you're welcome to ask about any of them.

  • 01Consultation before any treatment

Always, even if you've had the same treatment elsewhere. Your face, your medical history, our assessment.

  • 02A cooling-off period

Consultation and first treatment never happen on the same day. Decisions about your face shouldn't be made in the chair.

  • 03Patch tests as standard

Where a treatment can react, we test first and wait. It's slower. That's the point.

  • 04Adults only

We don't treat anyone under 18, and we don't aim anything on this site at them either.

  • 05We say no

If a treatment won't help, or the reason behind it worries us, we'll decline and explain why. A good clinic turns work away.

How we don't sell. No packages offered in the chair. No time-limited discounts on injectables. No finance pushed at the point of treatment. If a price needs urgency to work, it isn't a fair price, and if it needs borrowing for, it can wait until it doesn't.
Honest answers

The questions people are too polite to ask.

Will it hurt? +
Some treatments sting, briefly. We'll tell you exactly what to expect before you decide, use numbing where it helps, and you can stop at any point. Nobody grits their teeth through anything here.
Will I look "done"? +
Not on our watch. We work gradually and conservatively, and we'd rather book a review than overdo a first appointment. If your goal is a dramatic change in one sitting, we're honestly not the right clinic.
What if you say no? +
Then you'll hear why, and what we'd suggest instead, which is sometimes skincare, sometimes another professional, sometimes nothing at all. The consultation fee still comes off any treatment we do agree suits you.
How do I know you're qualified? +
Ask. Seriously, ask. You can check a nurse's registration on the NMC register yourself, and any reputable practitioner will hand over their registration number, insurance and training certificates without a flicker. Treat hesitation as your answer.
