For roofers · Midlands

The least trusted trade. Proof fixes that.

Storm chancers poisoned this well for everyone. Dated, located job photos, accreditations a suspicious buyer can check, and an open deposit policy separate you fast.

Every job · dated and placed
01 · the real issue

Every roofer pays for the rogues.

Roofing tops every doorstep-scam warning the customer has ever read. They arrive suspicious, and the site's job is to hand them things they can check.

The storm chancers
A few rogues with a ladder and a leaflet poisoned the well for everyone. You inherit their reputation before you've said a word.
The deposit fear
Money up front, to a stranger, for work they can't see from the ground. Every warning they've ever read says don't.
The postcode drift
Quote requests from three towns over that were never going to book, each one wanting a visit before they'll talk numbers.

That's why this page runs on proof, and so does the site I'd build you. Dates, places, and a policy they can hold you to.

02 · the site

What good looks like for a roofer.

This is Ridgeway Roofing, a roofing concept I built to show the standard. Hover it and it walks through itself.

  • 01Job photos with dates and areas

Every job carries when it was done and where. A suspicious buyer can check the story stacks up, which is exactly why it wins.

  • 02Accreditations explained in one line each

Not a row of logos. What each badge commits you to, and how a customer would look you up on the register.

  • 03An open deposit policy

What you take, when you take it and why, printed on the page. The contrast with the doorstep knock does the selling for you.

  • 04A photo-first quote form with a postcode filter

Photos and a postcode before anyone gets a ladder off the van. The far-away enquiries filter themselves out.

Ridgeway is a concept, not a real firm. Yours gets built on your jobs, your dates, your patch.

03 · the other half

The jobs that pile up when the weather turns.

A site earns the trust. These three run underneath it, and every one is a small build.

1

Quotes from three postcodes away

Today

The form asks for nothing, so anyone fills it in. You drive out to price a job that was never going to book, and lose half a day doing it.

What I'd build

A quote form that asks for photos and a postcode first, and quietly filters out the enquiries you'd never take. The ones that reach you are worth pricing.

2

Storm weeks with no triage

Today

The wind gets up overnight and the phone melts. Urgent leaks, lost tiles and nervous maybes all land in the same voicemail, in no order at all.

What I'd build

An emergency intake that sorts urgent from routine: what's happening, one photo, which street. You start the morning with a list in order instead of a full voicemail box.

Inspection reports written up by hand

Today

The insurer wants photos, dates and a description in a format they'll accept. It gets typed up at the kitchen table long after the ladder's back on the van.

What I'd build

A photo report that formats itself: the shots you take on the roof drop into a dated, addressed document the insurer will accept, finished before you've left the kerb.

Ask about this

If you want the numbers for your own setup, I'll build you a proper ROI on the jobs worth doing. If you've lived these three, that's the point.

04 · what it costs

Priced like the van, not the roof.

Most roofers take the subscription: nothing upfront, one monthly amount, and the website stops being the job for a rained-off day.

Starter
£149/mo
Nothing upfront · 12-month term

The roofer's site done properly. Dated job photos, accreditations explained, your deposit policy in plain sight, hosting, changes and care, bundled.

Start with Starter
Rather pay once? Builds start at £595 with care plans from £49 a month. The full ladder is on the pricing page, and I'll always tell you if the smaller option fits.

They've been burned before. Be the one they can check.

Fifteen minutes on the phone and I'll tell you what I'd build, what it costs, and whether it's worth doing at all. If your current site just needs dates putting on the job photos, I'll say so.
