Sell the after. The before helps.

Gardens get bought on transformation photos, so photography carries the budget here. The site frames it, and the quote form keeps site visits for real jobs.

Transformations · front and centre
01 · the real issue

The garden gets bought from a photo.

Nobody imagines a finished garden from a paragraph. They see somebody's after photo and decide that's what they want. The question is whose.

The after does the selling
One transformation photo does what no page of copy can. If your best afters aren't on show, someone else's are, and the job follows them.
The free-visit tax
Every enquiry earns a site visit, serious or not. An hour there, a walk round, a quote into silence, for a job that never had a budget.
The trapped portfolio
This year's best work lives in a camera roll, shown one thumb-swipe at a time on a driveway, while the website ages around three old jobs.

That's why this page holds the motion back, and so would the site I'd build you. The photography is the product; everything else stays out of its way.

02 · the site

What good looks like for a landscaper.

This is Fernway Gardens, a landscaping concept I built to show the standard. Hover it and it walks through itself.

  • 01Big transformation photography, shot properly

One garden told before-and-after at full width, dated and placed. The after does the selling; the site's job is to refuse to shrink it.

  • 02A photo-and-postcode quote form

Photos of the garden and a postcode before anyone drives anywhere. The site visits you do make are for jobs that are real.

  • 03Staged payments, explained in the open

What you take, when and why, printed on the page. On a five-figure garden that's the trust question, answered before it's asked.

  • 04Maintenance plans as a page, priced

Fortnightly and weekly care people can join from the site, billed evenly through the year instead of invoiced visit by visit.

Fernway is a concept, not a real firm. Yours gets built on your gardens, your photos, your patch.

03 · the other half

The jobs that eat the week between builds.

A site shows the transformations. These three run underneath it, and every one is a small build.

1

Every enquiry earning a free site visit

Today

The form asks for nothing, so anyone fills it in. You drive out, walk the garden, measure up and quote, and the answer was always going to be no because the budget was never there.

What I'd build

A quote form that asks for photos, a postcode and a rough budget band first. The garden lands on your screen before your van leaves the yard, and the visits you do make are for real jobs.

Before-and-afters trapped on phones

Today

Every finished garden gets photographed, then buried in a camera roll. The website still shows the same three jobs it launched with, and your best work this year isn't on it.

What I'd build

A project log that builds the gallery as you go: photos in from the phone, dated and placed, live on the site the same week. The portfolio grows with the work instead of ageing behind it.

Maintenance renewals and winter billing by hand

Today

Summer money, winter silence. Maintenance customers get invoiced visit by visit and chased by text, and some quietly lapse over winter because nobody's been billed since October.

What I'd build

Scheduled maintenance-plan billing and reminders: one even monthly amount all year, renewals that nudge themselves, and a visit reminder the night before so the gate's unlocked and the dog's in.

Ask about this

If you want the numbers for your own setup, I'll build you a proper ROI on the jobs worth doing. If you've lived these three, that's the point.

04 · what it costs

Priced like the trailer, not the garden.

Most landscapers take the subscription: nothing upfront, one monthly amount, and the website stops being a job for the rained-off days.

Starter
£149/mo
Nothing upfront · 12-month term

The landscaper's site done properly. Transformations at full width, dated and placed, staged payments explained, hosting, changes and care, bundled.

Start with Starter
Rather pay once? Builds start at £595 with care plans from £49 a month. The full ladder is on the pricing page, and I'll always tell you if the smaller option fits.

The after sells itself. Give it somewhere to live.

Fifteen minutes on the phone and I'll tell you what I'd build, what it costs, and whether it's worth doing at all. If your current site just needs your ten best afters putting on it, I'll say so.
